Creamy Crab & Potato Soup
Courtesy of Jim Hudson

1 cup of Half and Half
1 cup of whipping cream
1 stick of butter
2 cups of milk
1 small onion
3 peeled potatoes (Note: Tea you can leave these out)
½ cup fresh chopped parsley
3 lbs of crab meat, and don't use the pasteurized kind
2 TBS of TSS "Rattlesnake Dust"
2 TSB of "Salt-Free Cajun"
2 TSP of Paprika

In a 4 quart saucepan on medium low heat, add the butter, half and half and whipping cream. Once the butter has started melting, add the milk, parsley, and use fresh parsley as the dried will change the taste, the TSS seasonings, the onion and potatoes. Let this simmer while stirring once in a while for about 10 minutes. Now add the crab meat and keep stirring for about another 10 to 15 minutes or until the potatoes are done. Serve this with a tossed salad and hard crusty French rolls and you have a great meal sure to warm the coldest of appetites.
